Tag Team Match Confirmed For Absolute Wrestling ‘Wrestling Isn’t Dead II’

Absolute Wrestling have confirmed a second match for their February 18th event, Wrestling Isn’t Dead II at the Linskill Centre in North Shields.

It has been announced that Alexander Henry and Jason Prime of The New Nation will compete against The Kings Of Catch’s Aspen Faith and Lewis Girvan in tag team action in North Shields on February 18th.

Absolute Wrestling confirmed the match with the following:

2016 was not only Absolute Wrestling’s first full year, but it was our breakout year, it was the year of outstanding wrestling, it was the year of Pure Wrestling, it was the year of Uncompromising Action and it was the Year of Supreme talent, it was a year of domination, of competition, of brawling, and of spectacular high-flying. It was the year of surprises, of upsets, of passion, of glory and it was the year of the tournament. HT Drake won King of the North 2016 and Absolute Wrestling crowned it’s first ever Supreme Heavyweight Champion, as Bubblegum overcame 16 of the best wrestlers in all of the Queens realm to prove that he is truly SUPREME by becoming the only singles competitor to remain undefeated all year and dominating the singles division.

Bubblegum was not the only dominating force in 2016, one tag team blazed a trail of destruction in their path, destroying every challenge that the board of directors put in front of them. No achievement was more impressive than their win over the Coffey Brothers, which really cemented them as the dominant force in tag team wrestling. That team was the New Nation and they will be returning to Absolute on February 18th at the Linskill Centre

With that in mind, the Board of Directors is putting the tag division on notice by letting them know that they’ll be paying special attention to them and that 2017 will be the year of tag team wrestling. Absolute Wrestling will give the two teams that impress most throughout the year the chance to become the first ever Absolute Wrestling Tag Team Champions, later in 2017.

So what better way to kick off the year of tag wrestling than to put the most dominating team against a team that impressed massively upon their debut in December and give the fans a match they have been asking for since?

At Wrestling isn’t Dead II The New Nation will go at it with the self-proclaimed best young tag team in the world The Kings of Catch
