The second new contest scheduled for January 27th shall see Marc Morgan return from retirement to compete against “Mr Massive” Chuck Cyrus in singles action at the Dawley Town Hall.

Shropshire Wrestling Alliance announced the matches with the following:

SWA REBIRTH MATCH ANNOUNCEMENT!

— Friday January 27th – Dawley Town Hall —

Kip Sabian vs ‘Number One’ Damian Dunne

The first ever British Lions Champion returns to Dawley and looks to get off on winning ways and staking his claim as one of the top guys in the reborn Shropshire Wrestling Alliance.

Damian has defeated the best of them, Mark Andrews, his brother Pete, Edwards, Dave Delvecchio and many more. He is determined to make 2017 the year he truly becomes Number One!

Standing in his way is a man who had a standout 2016 from Norwich, ‘The Handsome Hustler’ Kip Sabian!

Personally recommended by numerous respected wrestlers from around the country (including Chuck Cyrus), Kip is a high flying, hard hitting indivudual who has made his mark in RCWA, PWA and most notably WAW (run by the Knight Family including SWA alumni the Hooligans).

He looks to make 2017 his year and what better way to kick it off than a victory over an SWA original and former Champion!

BREAKING NEWS FROM EARLIER!

The first ever SWA Heavyweight Champion returns on January 27th!

MARC MORGAN is coming out of retirement to compete for Shropshire Wrestling Alliance.

For those who haven’t followed us from day 1, Marc was our first ever SWA Heavyweight Champion and helped to make the company what it became . Loved by many during his title reign, he was defeated by Joey Ozbourne in March 2013 but was still a huge part of the company through 2013.

Marc took some time off due to injury in early 2014, when he returned he was a very different man. Visceral, deadly and arrogant, Marc fell in with the wrong crowd and was part of the Coalition that attempted to take over SWA. He had a great feud with Joey Sanchez over the Heavyweight title before going into Inception 4 as part of the epic 8 man elimination tag match.

That match saw the superkick heard around the world when Joey Sanchez turned his back on Simon Brown and SWA and the Coalition ran roughshot over Dawley. Morgan was joined by his friend and tag team partner Dave Delvecchio as the Filthy Rotten Scoundrels and since then they have captured tag team gold in numerous companies all over the country.

Marc decided in summer 2016 to leave professional wrestling to concentrate on other commitments and actually retired as the BWP Catchweight Champion. When we received this video we were genuinely shocked, Marc is returning in January and he has since emailed again to demand a specific opponent.

He claims he wants to be the face of SWA to take it into the new era of Rebirth and to do that he has to beat one of the faces of SWA.

That left us with one decision to make… And we’ve made it!

His opponent is loved by the SWA crowd, his matches against Pyro, Josh Shooter, Dan Moloney and especially Mark Haskins during his time in SWA just show how versatile this man really is. Since the SWA hiatus he has become RCWA Heavyweight Champion, wrestled all over Europe and… Got even more MASSIVE!

In your final match announcement;

MARC MORGAN WILL GO ONE ON ONE WITH ‘MR MASSIVE’ CHUCK CYRUS!!!
