Interim Championship Match Announced For IPW:UK ‘Supershow V’

IPW:UK have confirmed an eighth match for their December 18th event, Supershow V at the Casino Rooms in Rochester, Kent.

It has been announced that due to Mickie James being unable to defend the IPW:UK Women’s Championship at present, Pollyanna will compete against Tennessee Honey in Rochester on December 18th at Supershow V with the winner being crowned the IPW:UK Interim Women’s Champion.

IPW:UK announced the match with the following:

SUNDAY DECEMBER 18 – ROCHESTER, KENT

:: Back in October, Mickie James defeated Tennessee Honey to win the IPW:UK Women’s Title. Since that victory, circumstances have changed and we are unable to sign Mickie to defend the gold at this time.

Rather than hold up the division waiting for her to get back to us, we decided to put on a bout between the two women we feel are most deserving of a title shot – former champ Tennessee Honey and the woman who got the deciding pinfall in the Women’s Showcase main event, Pollyanna!

Both ladies have made it very clear that they feel they should get the next title shot, and as a result they will face off with the INTERIM WOMENS TITLE on the line this coming Sunday at SuperShow 5!
