No DQ Championship Match Announced For Kamikaze Pro ‘Bank On It! 4’

Kamikaze Pro have announced a third match for their October 30th event, ‘Bank On It! 4’ at the Meadway Sports & Social in Stechford, Birmingham.

It has been confirmed that Clint Margera will defend the Kamikaze Pro Championship against “The Mexican Sensation” El Ligero in a no disqualification match in Stechford on October 30th at ‘Bank On It! 4’.

Kamikaze Pro announced the match with the following:

The 3rd match for Kamikaze Pro – Bank On It 4 on October 30th will be a 1st time ever match as the Kamikaze Pro Championship is put on the line in a No Disqualification match with 2 of the most popular wrestlers in Kamikaze.

Clint Margera
Over the last year, Margera has been on a major roll in Kamikaze Pro. 9 victories in his last 9 singles outings in Kamikaze Pro. In fact, he is 12-2 in his Kamikaze Pro career in singles matches and he has avenged both losses to Abyss & Robbie X in recent months. Speaking of which, he ended Robbie X’s 609 day Kamikaze Pro Title reign at our 3rd Anniversary Show on June 26th, Margera became only the 4th Kamikaze Pro Champion in the 3 years of Kamikaze Pro. The last year has been a huge one for Margera, he took on Abyss in the Kamikaze Pro 2015 Match of the Year, Clint has defeated Marshall X twice, won the 29 person Over The Top Rumble, defeated Damian Dunne, Dan Moloney, former NXT Superstar Joel Redman, he dethroned Robbie X and defended his Title against him in Last Man Standing Rules and he defeated ‘The Monster’ Abyss in the rematch at Monster II in a No DQ match. He became one of the very few people in Kamikaze Pro history to pin Ryan Smile in a Kamikaze Pro ring and he looks to continue his reign as he takes on one of the top wrestlers in the UK.

El Ligero
With 6 singles win in a row over such talent such as Shane Strickland, DJ Z, Marty Scurll, Marshall X & Jody Fleisch. His last defeat in singles competition was at Hostile Takeover 2 last year competing for the Kamikaze Pro Title against Robbie X, so he has more than earned his way back for another title match. Ligero has taken on the world’s best wrestling talent including Sami Zayn, Adrian Neville, EC3, Ultimo Dragon, Matt Hardy, Chavo Guerrero, Evan Bourne, Kenny King, The Amazing Red, Jay Lethal, Tommaso Ciampa, Brian Kendrick and Low Ki to much success. With all his victories in Kamikaze, the one thing he hasn’t achieved in the promotion is to win a championship. October 30th is his chance to right that wrong. No disqualification may seem right up Margeras alley, but Ligero is no stranger to No DQ matches having participated in them up and down the UK. Ligero actually requested this match be No DQ as he wants to win the Kamikaze Pro Title by beating Margera at his own game.
