Knockout Wrestling have announced a fourth contest for their August 20th event, ‘Unfinished Business’ at the Cemetery Cottages in Barrow-In-Furness.
It has been confirmed that Sheriff Steele shall face the current KOW Showcase Champion, Rikki Kray in singles competition in Barrow-In-Furness on August 20th.
Knockout Wrestling announced the match with the following:
With only 4 days to go until Unfinished Business we have one more exclusive match announcement for you! This Saturday the current KOW Showcase Champion Rikki Kray takes on Sheriff Steele in a match which has already become very personal!
The issues between the two began at our last event, Kray would successfully defend his Showcase Championship in the opening contest, but continued to attack Ethan Berry after the match, resulting in Sheriff Steele charging through the curtain in order to protect the young grappler and stand up to the KOW Academy’s most egotistical and unstable competitor. Rikki Kray vowed that things were not over between the two, a statement which he backed up later that evening, costing KOW’s resident Sheriff a match with long-time rival Marc Morrellis by smashing Steele in the back of the head with the Showcase Championship Trophy! Kray would continue the assault after the match, turning Steele’s own handcuffs against him to secure him to the ropes and while the Sheriff tried to fight back, he stood no chance as Kray pummelled him again and again, leaving Steele defenceless, handcuffed and battered in the ring! Kray claims this is what happens to people that “get involved in his business”, but now he has placed himself directly into the more experienced Sheriff’s cross-hairs!
Ever since Deception, Sheriff Steele has been demanding a one-on-one match with Rikki Kray and after weeks of waiting, it has now been confirmed and the match will go ahead this Saturday! While Rikki Kray’s Showcase Championship will not be on the line, both mens personal pride will be and both Steele and Kray will be willing to do anything to pick up the victory! Can Steele avenge his humiliation or will Kray crown his move to the full-time KOW Roster with a victory? Be at The Cottages in just 4 days time to find out, tickets still available for just £5 each!
