Kamikaze Pro have announced a second championship defence for their August 5th event, ‘Monster II’ at the Aston University in Birmingham.

It has been confirmed that “Textbook” Tyler Bate will defend the Relentless Division Championship  against “The Big O” Omari in Birmingham on August 5th.

Kamikaze Pro announced the match with the following:

The 6th match for Kamikaze Pro – Monster II next Friday at Aston Uni will see the Relentless Division Title put on the line as the 2 fastest rising stars in the company go 1 on 1 for the first time.

‘Textbook’ Tyler Bate
2016 has been a great year for Tyler Bate in Kamikaze Pro. At Hostile Takeover 3, Tyler put in a Match of the Year worthy performance against Mark Haskins. Both men received a standing ovation after the match despite Bate coming out on the losing end. He then decided to have another MOTY contender with Zack Sabre Jr at Sky’s The Limit 3 in what was another technical masterclass. At our 3rd Anniversary Show, Bate managed to end the title reign of Ryan Smile to become the new Relentless Division Champion in Kamikaze Pro. He then gained a measure of payback in his first title defence at Lo Down as he defeated Mark Haskins in a rematch. He looks to make his 2nd title defence against one of the fasting rising stars in the company.

‘The Big O’ Omari
After huge victories this year at Bad Apple against CZW Wrestler David Starr, at Sky’s The Limit 3 in a Triple Threat Match against Dan Moloney & Travis Banks and an upset victory at the 1st Kamikaze Pro Live show against Smiles fellow Bigger Picture member Marshall X. ‘The Big O’ has come in to his own in 2016 in Kamikaze Pro. He recently took then Kamikaze Pro Champion Robbie X to the limit at Battle Lines in what was the best match on the show and gave UK veteran Martin Kirby all he could handle at Underground II. He then at our 3rd Anniversary Show competed in another great match for the Relentless Division Title against Ryan Smile, Tyler Bate & Chris Brookes. At Lo Down he took ‘Bruiserweight’ Pete Dunne to the Limit in another great match. This will be his first 1 on 1 title match in Kamikaze and he will be looking to leave Aston Uni as Relentless Division Champion.
