Change To Match Scheduled For The Wrestling League ‘BattleRink’

The Wrestling League

The Wrestling League have announced a change to a match scheduled for their July 30th FREE event, ‘BattleRink’ at the Dovercourt Skating Rink in Harwich.

It has been confirmed that Lord Gideon Grey shall no longer challenge James Castle for The Wrestling League Heavyweight Championship in Harwich on July 30th. Instead James Castle will now be defending The Wrestling League Heavyweight Championship against “The Whizz Kid” Lance Lawrence at the Dovercourt Skating Rink.

The Wrestling League announced the change with the following:

Wrestling League Statement.

Lord Gideon Grey has informed us at the Wrestling League that he can no longer perform in front of a Harwich crowd if the majority of the Harwich crowd are not paying for this privilege. Our FREE show for charity is not a stage Gideon Grey feels like he can perform. Grey has also stated to us that it’s bad enough that we have allowed fans to see him live for free but to also allow a unknown in Harry Mant appear higher on a card that would have seen him become our Champion. Lord ended the call saying the whole situation is atrocious and he will be back when he wants to be back in Harwich.
