The following results are from House Of Pain Wrestling ‘June Weekender: Calverton’ at the Calverton Working Mens Club in Calverton, Nottingham on June 26th 2016:
the show began with Danny Chase coming to the ring to boast about his HOP Heavyweight Championship win the previous night. Garrett Bond came to the ring and challenged Danny Chase to prove his worth by competing in the main event, replacing Alex Gracie who was not present.
Lucas Archer defeated ‘The Purge’ Steven Harris by Pinfall.
‘Textbook’ Dave Breaks defeated Davey Thompson by Submission.
The Sons Of Thunder (Tommy Taylor & ‘Heavy Metal’ Jack Kastor) defeated ABH (Dante Durden & Eddy Martins) by Pinfall.
Following the match, Eddy Martins was slapped by Dante Durden who retaliated by knocking down Durden. Johnny Concrete came to the ring but then attacked Eddy Martins with Dante Durden joining in. Tommy Taylor and Jack Kastor then came back to the ring and stopped further attack to Eddy Martins by Johnny Concrete & Dante Durden.
Mr Goodman defeated ‘Super’ Sam Spencer by Pinfall.
Garrett ‘G-Wiz’ Bond & Barricade defeated Johnny Concrete & ‘The Absolute Legend’ Danny Chase by Pinfall*.
*During the match, Dante Durden attempted to interfere in the match but was stopped by Eddy Martins.
Following the match, it was announced that Barricade would challenge Danny Chase for the HOP Heavyweight Championship on July 31st.
