NAK Debut, Tag Team Match Announced For Southside Wrestling ‘Day Of Reckoning VII’ + ‘Ill Manors 2015’ Match Card

Southside Wrestling have announced a tag team match for their October 10th afternoon show, ‘Day Of Reckoning VII’ at the Corporation in Sheffield.

It has been confirmed that The New Age Kliq’ BT Gunn & Stevie Boy will compete against former Southside Tag Team champions, The Hunter Brothers in a tag team match at the Corporation on October 10th at ‘Day Of Reckoning VII’.

Southside Wrestling announced the match with the following:

TAG TEAM MATCH FOR SHEFFIELD AFTERNOON SHOW! NAK DEBUT AGAINST THE HUNTER BROTHERS!!!
For “Day Of Reckoning 7” in Sheffield the afternoon of Saturday the 10th of October, the New Age Kliq from Scotland will make their Southside Wrestling debuts as a team when BT Gunn and Stevie Boy take on the former Southside Tag Team Champions, The Hunter Brothers! We know Gunn has recruited his NAK team mates to take on the Second City Collective of Ryan Smile, Pete & Damian Dunne on the evening “Ill Manors 2015” show, but now we have confirmation that it is Stevie Boy he will be bringing down with him from Scotland. BT Gunn made his debut in Sheffield at last years “Ill Manors” in a loss to Ryan Smile and that very same event saw Stevie Boy’s last appearance in a Southside in a four-way loss to Jimmy Havoc.

The Hunter Brothers have appeared on all of our previous Sheffield shows with varying degrees of success. On our Sheffield debuted they defeated the team of Stixx and Joseph Conners. The next show they lost to Conners and Jimmy Havoc. And on our last Sheffield show they lost in an ROH World Tag Team Championship match to the defending champions, Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian, The Addiction. With the loss of the Southside Tag Team title’s still raw and their inability to win those titles back – They now hand around the waists of Project Ego, Martin Kirby and Sheffield’s own Kris Travis! – They need a win to get themselves back into title contention.

When BT Gunn was last in Sheffield in May he managed to score a huge win over former NJPW & TNA star, Curry Man, Martin Kirby and the man he pinned to gain a measure of revenge over from last November, Ryan Smile, however it was that victory that caused Damian Dunne to run out from the back and attack Gunn. We know NAK vs The Second City Collective later in the night will be a war to settle a personal score, but this match will be between two teams attempting to establish themselves in the ranking in the Southside tag team division. We have one of the most competitive and best tag team divsions in Europe if not the World and now with the addition of The NAK, things are heating up!
